The name of this handbag went back to a visit to MUJI, Japanese chain stores that use the « non branded » principle. I took the liberty of changing the order of the letters from the original name to « IJUM ».

In Japan in the previous centuries the idea of the current bag was represented by a piece of fabric folded around an object. The art of the folding, if it’s a paper (origami) or a fabric (furoshiki) is a strong part of the Japanese culture.

“IJUM” is a double face multi-pocket handbag and is declined in different traditional African and Asian fabrics, which personalize and change it’s look and style depending on the patterns and colors.

I always buy the two fabrics used for the same bag together and combine a warm and cold tone, so it can suit any of your fashion appearances! The “IJUM” bag is doubled inside so it can be strong and last longer. All fabrics can be washed in the washing machine in low temperature. No tumble-dry.

Exists in three different sizes: S, M, L.

Personalized orders accepted.

Soon a man’s bag will be available!
