Glass spare parts found and cleaned at the Nagar Glass Factory

Recuperation of the glass from an ancient Chinese family-run glassware, Nagar Glass Factory, largely destroyed by Cyclone Nargis in 2008. The glass part is combined with a specially made support in teak wood (one of the main precious natural sources in Myanmar) I’ve adapted for every piece.

I’ve found inspiration for ©1853 in the first oil lamp invented in 1853. During a visit to Nagar Glass Factory, I’ve seen a very old oil lamp belonging to the Chinese family living there and owners of the destroyed factory.
